You’ll discover the wildlife in Tanzania in only four days. We will take you through Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, and Ngorongoro Conservation Area and show you the best time. Tarangire offers a large amount of wildlife, and bird life and is famous for the many elephants. Lake Manyara is famous for a good number of baboons, hippos, impalas, elephants, wildebeest, buffalos, and more. In Ngorongoro, you will be sure to see the Big Five.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your safari driver and transferred to Arusha. The drive will take approximately 1 hour to reach the town and your hotel. Tulia Boutique Hotel & Spa is a good point to stop for the evening before you proceed to the bush the next day. The accommodation is booked on bed and breakfast however dinner can be added for an additional cost. Another option is to go out for dinner and try local African dishes. You can easily walk to the city center from Tulia Boutique Hotel & Spa.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, we will pick you up from the lodge and drive to Tarangire National Park for a game drive. Tarangire is home to the largest elephant population in northern Tanzania. During the dry season, the wildlife viewing is breathtaking. You will be amazed by the sight of thousands of zebra, wildebeest, lion, leopard, spotted hyena, and 4 of the Big Five. You will also see cheetahs and a variety of gazelles. Your overnight stay will be at the selected accommodation. Please note the accommodation can be upgraded if you wish.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive via the Southern Gate of the Park. Lake Manyara is a stunning alkaline lake; a great park to have a 1-day visit. There is plenty of game with endless scenery of the Rift Valley, one of the finest views in Africa. The park is famous for a good number of baboon and bird life, as well as being home to herbivores such as hippos, impalas, elephants, wildebeests, buffalos, warthogs, giraffes, and giant fig trees. If you are lucky, lions and leopards can be seen.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

On this day, you will be heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area after breakfast to start a safari to your destination of the day with picnic lunch boxes. After registration, you will descend to the crater for an enchanting game-viewing drive. It’s also known as ‘the eighth Wonder of the World’. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s best-known wildlife arenas. The UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a unique biosphere, which has remained virtually unchanged since the dawn of time. Deep within the Crater, enclosed by towering walls, some 25,000 large mammals wander the plains, lakes, and forests of the land. During your game drive inside the crater, you will most likely see black rhinos, leopards, wonderful black-maned lions, and many flamingos. Later, you will be transferred back to Arusha and then to the airport for the journey back home.
