You’ll embark on an unforgettable 5-day Tanzania fly-in safari that seamlessly combines the thrill of aerial exploration with the raw beauty of three iconic national parks: Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park. Your adventure begins with a flight to the plains of the Serengeti, where mesmerizing landscapes and abundant wildlife await, a natural phenomenon that unfolds before your eyes.
You will reach Seronera Airstrip. You will be met timeously at Seronera Airstrip by our specialist safari driver who will welcome you and then have a picnic lunch ready for the wildlife viewing tour. After lunch, you will continue with your game drive in search of the big cats of Serengeti and other ungulates. Upon arrival, you’ll take up a game drive for possible sights of zebras, Grant’s and Thompson gazelles, topis, Coke’s hartebeest, Common elands other wild animals. You’ll retire for the night. You will witness the beauty of the thousands of herds of wildebeest and zebras feeding in the endless plains or crossing the Mara. You will see wild creatures (birds, animals, reptiles, etc.) roaming around the savannah woodland, dominated by acacia trees to savannah grassland. Later, you will be driven back to your arranged camp or lodge in the evening for dinner.
On this day, you will go to far parts of the Serengeti north/ south/east/west depending on wildlife movements. After an early breakfast, you will go on an early game drive. Later, you will have lunch and continue the game drive to the evening then return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
You’ll wake up early at 6:00 am. After a hot cup of coffee, you will leave the campsite for morning wildlife viewing in the heart of Serengeti National Park while enjoying the beautiful sunrises. Though it’s going to be a bit chill in the morning, don’t forget your warm clothes. You’ll get on with the game drive till mid-day. You’ll drive back to the camp for a full breakfast and lunch called brunch. Then, later you will leave the camp for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area while you are having a game drive en route towards Farm of Dream for dinner and an overnight stay.
Non–wildlife viewing time: 3 – 4 hours
After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators. This includes lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. You will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds can usually be seen here. In the late afternoon, you’ll transfer to Mto Wa Mbu for an overnight stay.
You’ll drive to Tarangire National Park which is famous for its diverse landscape. The park is particularly known for its abundance of ancient baobab trees and having the largest concentration of elephants in the country. It provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. You will do a game drive through the park, depending on the reported sightings of animals (mostly predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards as they are harder to spot). Herbivores like giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, etc. are plenty to see throughout the park.
You will leave the park and return to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
