5-Day Unforgettable Fly-out in Serengeti & Zanzibar

This safari is suitable for clients who do not want to drive for too long. You will depart from Arusha by road and on the last day, you will fly from Seronera Airstrip to catch your flight back to Zanzibar. On this tour, you will have the opportunity to see all of the Big 5 animals (lion, leopard, Cape buffalo, elephant, and rhino), together with more than 100 species of animals and birds.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast at your hotel in Arusha. The Guide will come and pick you up at your hotel and then you will begin your journey to drive through the “land of giants”, Tarangire National Park. Drive across the endless golden savannah that grazes along the Tarangire River. This national park is known for its elephants and sprawling baobab trees. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the picnic site and take in the remarkable view of the Tarangire River. Keep a close eye on your lunch, as the monkeys won’t hesitate to get away with a tasteful treat if given the chance.

The action-packed game drive will end late in the evening. You will now head towards your choice of accommodation, where a freshly prepared dinner awaits. Ensure you get some good rest and recharge yourself for another eventful day.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

Experience a one-of-a-kind drive inside an ancient volcano packed with incredible wildlife and right in the heart of the action. After an early breakfast, we will start our much-anticipated trip to Ngorongoro Crater.

The earlier you descend to the crater floor, the higher your chances of spotting rare species like black rhinos. Spend the majority of the morning visiting the Ngorongoro Crater. With its 600-to 650-meter-high walls, it resembles a natural zoo and has the highest concentration of wild animals.

Day 3: Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park

You’ll leave the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater and journey toward the legendary Serengeti National Park, descending through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, enjoy views of Maasai villages and wildlife before stopping for a picnic lunch.

Enter the Serengeti through Naabi Hill Gate and embark on an exciting game drive en route to your lodge or camp. Witness iconic wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, and herds of wildebeest, along with stunning bird species like lilac-breasted rollers. As the sun sets over the endless plains, arrive at your accommodations to unwind or opt for a night safari to discover the Serengeti’s nocturnal wonders.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

Spend a full day exploring the vast Serengeti National Park, immersing yourself in its diverse landscapes and incredible wildlife. Begin with an early morning game drive to catch predators like lions and cheetahs at their most active.

Throughout the day, traverse the park’s iconic plains, woodlands, and river areas, observing the elephants, giraffes, and countless other species. Break for a picnic lunch at a scenic spot before continuing your exploration. As the day winds down, enjoy the magical Serengeti sunset and return to your lodge or camp for a relaxing evening under the starry African sky.

Day 5: Serengeti to Seronera Airstrip

Start your morning with a final game drive in the Serengeti, taking in the sights and sounds of the park one last time. This is your chance to spot any animals you might have missed, from big cats to herds of grazing antelope. After Lunch and some final moments in the wilderness, you’ll make your way to the Seronera Airstrip to catch your flight to Zanzibar.

Enjoy a scenic drive through the heart of the Serengeti, where you might catch more wildlife along the way, before boarding your flight and bidding farewell to this unforgettable safari experience.
