A night game drive is an adventure in Tanzania that involves tracking and viewing wildlife at night in the comfort of a safari vehicle. It gives you an exclusive opportunity to see different animals. This is one of the excellent tours that gives you enough time to explore the Tanzania Wildlife Parks while you will have a very different experience. Also, you will explore the Nature and wildlife at Tarangire National Park a home of Elephants and other animals.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire ( night game drive )

After arriving in the park, the night game drive will begin around 19:30 you will meet your guide at the gate of your selected accommodation and you will have a short briefing on what to do and not do during the night game drive. A new world of nocturnal animal species awaits you on an exclusive night game drive excursion within the Tarangire National Park, as this area is considered an ideal location for this activity. You will then drive into the night within the vast Tarangire Park to see the animals, some of which are rare and inactive during the daytime. Leopards will be easily spotted and other animals, including Lions, wandering elephants, antelopes, porcupines and Genet. Dinner will not be provided during night game drives so guests must have an early dinner.

Day 2:Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, at the Lodge/Hotel and then depart for a game drive to Tarangire National Park. This is a beautiful park filled with baobabs and acacias with a large variety of games such as Zebras, elephants, giraffes and waterbucks the animals enjoy the water coming from the Tarangire River. The animals best viewed during this time of the year include Elephant herds, common elands, lesser kudu, leopards, lions and cheetah. The birdlife is varied and plentiful. Later game drive is done on this day, after a day of the game drive the guide will drive to the lodge/hotel for Dinner and overnight.

Day 3:Serengeti National Park

After breakfast in the morning, you will start a road transfer from Karatu to Serengeti National Park. after arriving in Serengeti we can spend time at the Hippo pool watching these majestic animals laze about in the cool water happily living alongside the crocodiles. Discover Serengeti National Park, famous for its abundance of animals. It is a world heritage full of wildlife and is home to many birds, including lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, yellows, wild dogs, gazelles, and crocodiles. Then return to your lodge in the early evening for a sundowner, relaxation dinner and overnight.

Day 4:Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will enjoy the amazing sunrise view in Serengeti and then continue to game drive in Serengeti National Park. On this day, our tour guide will take you to discover carnivores like big cats and hyenas. Learn about the park while driving and find out why the Maasai named it Serengeti, meaning “Endless Plains. Then you will have lunch and dinner overnight in your lodge.

Day 5:Serengeti to Ngorongoro 

After breakfast and a relaxing morning in your lodge you will proceed with your game drives and on this day you will have an opportunity to witness a few wonders of Serengeti before heading to your lodge, also visit the hippo pools and then have a road transfer to the nice mid-range lodge near Karatu.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

You will enjoy your breakfast at the lodge and then have a road transfer with a packed lunch from Karatu to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The Ngorongoro Crater is inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa including the rare black rhino. It contains a river, several swamps, a lake, a forest and open plains. Also in the Crater, you will enjoy a picnic lunch at the hippo pool site to enjoy the game and vegetation in the unbroken caldera home. There are said to be over 30,000 animals living in the area that is naturally enclosed by the slopes of an old volcano. In the afternoon, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Arusha or  Airport.

Clothing

Your clothing should be lightweight, breathable, hand-washable, and quick-drying, preferably moisture-wicking and non-cotton. Layers work best! You will want active wear for daily activities and casual dressy clothes for evening.
