Your Front-Row Seat to the Great Migration
Nyikani Migration Camp moves twice a year within the Serengeti ecosystem, ensuring guests are perfectly positioned to witness the Great Migration at its most dramatic moments.
🦓 December – April: Ndutu (Southern Serengeti & Ngorongoro Conservation Area)
From December to early April, the camp is set in Ndutu, an area rich in wildlife. This is calving season, when thousands of wildebeest give birth each day, attracting predators such as cheetahs, lions, and hyenas. The camp’s location offers easy access to the game-filled plains near Lakes Ndutu and Masek.
🌿 May – November: Northern Serengeti (Kogatende & Mara River)
From late May to November, Nyikani Migration Camp relocates to Kogatende, near the Mara River, offering ringside seats to the dramatic river crossings. Witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras bravely plunge into crocodile-infested waters as they move between Tanzania and Kenya.
