Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by the Client

All cancellations must be submitted in writing or via email to the office that confirmed the reservation. The cancellation will be considered effective from the date it is received by our booking office.

Cancellation fees will apply as follows:

Kilimanjaro Treks:

• 10 days or more before departure – No cancellation fees
• 5 days before departure – 10% of the total tour price will be charged
• 0 to 2 days before departure – 50% of the total tour price will be charged

Tanzania Safaris(lodge safari) (Including Park Entrance Fees):

• 15 days or more before departure(lodge safari) – No cancellation fees
• 5 days before departure(lodge safari) – 10% of the total tour price will be charged
• 2 days before departure(lodge safari) – 40% of the total tour price will be charged
• 0 to 1 days before departure(lodge safari) – 50% of the total tour price will be charged

• No refunds available for flights.

Change of Travel Dates

Clients may reschedule their tour at any time. However, any applicable cancellation fees and additional charges (if any) will be communicated prior to rescheduling. If the booking is later canceled after rescheduling, the original travel date will be used to determine any applicable refund.

Cancellation by Serengeti African Tours

Serengeti African Tours reserves the right to cancel any tour at its sole discretion due to unavoidable circumstances. In such cases, we will issue a full refund of all payments made by the client. This refund constitutes our full liability, and no additional claims or compensation shall be entertained.
