Your journey begins with a short flight from Zanzibar to the Serengeti, saving hours on the road and putting you straight into the wildlife action. In the Central Serengeti you enjoy exciting game drives across open savannah, where lions, leopards, cheetahs, and elephants roam. You then continue to the Ndutu plains, the heart of the great migration’s calving season, when thousands of wildebeest and zebra gather to give birth, usually between December and March. Newborn calves take their first steps while predators move in close, creating dramatic and unforgettable wildlife encounters. Traveling privately with your own guide and vehicle means a flexible pace and plenty of time for the sightings that matter most to you. When the safari ends, you return to Zanzibar to relax on white sandy beaches and unwind in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, a perfect finish to an adventure-filled journey.

Life on Safari
Day 1: Fly In to Seronera Airstrip (Serengeti) from Zanzibar
Start your adventure with a scenic flight from Zanzibar to the Seronera Airstrip in the heart of Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, your safari guide will welcome you and take you on a game drive in Central Serengeti, an area famous for its abundant big cats and wildlife action. In the evening, you’ll settle into your comfortable mid-range lodge/tented camp inside the park.

Day 2: Ndutu Area
After breakfast, drive toward the Ndutu area in the Southern Serengeti, the heart of the great migration calving season (December to March). Witness thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles spread across the plains, with predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas always nearby. Enjoy a full day of wildlife viewing in this remarkable ecosystem.

Day 3: Ndutu Area – Full-Day Game Drive
Spend the entire day exploring the Ndutu plains, where the spectacle of calving takes place. With luck, you’ll see newborn calves and predator-prey action. Your guide will position you for the best sightings, making this a day filled with incredible safari moments.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater- Arusha Fly to Zanzibar
After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World”. Descend into the crater for a thrilling game drive among one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, including chances to spot the rare black rhino. After the game drive and picnic lunch, you’ll transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar.

Day 5: Zanzibar – Full-Day Beach Relaxation
