This safari is suitable for clients who do not want to drive for too long. You will depart from Arusha by road and on the last day, you will fly from Seronera Airstrip to catch your flight back to Zanzibar. On this tour, you will have the opportunity to see all of the Big 5 animals (lion, leopard, Cape buffalo, elephant, and rhino), together with more than 100 species of animals and birds.
Life on Safari
After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, your safari guide will pick you up and begin the journey toward the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, you will descend over 600 meters into this natural wonder for an unforgettable game drive.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, sustained by year-round water and rich grazing lands. Expect to see herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippos, and majestic African elephants. The crater is also renowned for its dense predator population, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard.
You will also visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake located in the southwestern part of the crater, often filled with flamingos, hippos, and a variety of water birds.
In the late afternoon, ascend from the crater and transfer to your accommodation in the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and overnight.
