Our 4-day African safari, which specifically includes the Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater has been designed to offer you a short but intense Tanzanian Northern Circuit safari experience, for a shorter and time-constrained period of 4 days 3 nights. You will experience the excitement of wildlife viewing in three of the most spectacular national game parks in Tanzania.
Life on Safari
After breakfast, you will meet your driver-guide for a short safari briefing before departing for Tarangire National Park. The park stretches along the Tarangire River and is characterized by rolling hills, acacia woodlands, vast swamps, and iconic baobab trees.
During the dry season, the river and swamps attract large concentrations of wildlife, making Tarangire one of the best places in Tanzania to see elephants in large herds. You may also encounter rare species such as the greater kudu, fringe-eared oryx, and ashy starling, alongside giraffes, zebras, and buffaloes.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park, followed by an afternoon game drive until late evening. Afterwards, transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Today is dedicated to wildlife viewing in the Serengeti. Your game drives will focus on areas where the Great Migration is most active, depending on the season.
Predators such as lions, leopards (often seen resting in acacia trees), and cheetahs follow the migrating herds closely. During the short rains (November–December), herds move south, while in the long rains (April–June), they migrate north. Since movement depends on rainfall, your guide will use experience and local knowledge to locate the best wildlife viewing opportunities.

You may see wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, elands, warthogs, hippos, and large herds of elephants. The crater is also home to a high density of predators including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard.
Visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake that attracts flamingos and a variety of water birds. In the late afternoon, ascend the crater and transfer to your lodge in Karatu for overnight.
