This tour visits the most vibrant parks in northern Tanzania, specifically Tarangire and Ngorongoro. These parks are known for their significant migratory movements within the greater Tarangire ecosystem. From June to October, large herds of animals are drawn to the Tarangire River during the dry season. At this time, the number of elephants is imposing, making the park a must-visit destination for any safari in northern Tanzania.
Life on Safari
Your safari begins with an early breakfast, followed by pick-up from your hotel in Arusha at around 7:30 AM. After loading your luggage, you will depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive of approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.
Upon arrival, enjoy a full-day game drive in this beautiful park, known for its vast savannah landscapes, iconic baobab trees, and one of the highest concentrations of elephants in Africa.
You may encounter a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, zebras, wildebeest, impalas, baboons, warthogs, and numerous bird species.
In the afternoon, continue exploring the park’s diverse ecosystems before heading to your lodge for a relaxing evening.

Descend into the crater for a 6–7 hour game drive, where you will experience one of the highest densities of wildlife in Africa. Expect to see lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, and possibly the rare black rhino.
While giraffes are not found inside the crater due to its steep walls, they can often be seen in the surrounding highlands.
