Day 01: Arrival – Tarangire National Park

Upon arrival in Arusha from Zanzibar, you’ll be greeted and transported to Tarangire for an unforgettable safari adventure.
Tarangire National Park unfolds as the realm of majestic elephants traversing the open plains, lions asserting their presence, and zebras adding their distinct calls to the wild chorus. In the dry season, Tarangire proudly hosts the world’s largest elephant population, making it an essential stop on your journey. The park is equally renowned for its captivating baobab trees, towering termite mounds, and extensive expanses of grassy savannah plains and tranquil swamps. You’ll relish a full day of exploration within this remarkable park, continuing until 5:00 p.m., when you’ll embark on a journey to your lodge.

Day 02: Ngorongoro Crater

After an early morning breakfast, set off for an extraordinary 8-hour journey to Ngorongoro Crater, a geological marvel that stands among the most incredible and renowned Natural Wonders worldwide. This colossal, unbroken caldera was formed when a colossal volcano erupted and crumbled around three million years ago.

Ngorongoro Crater shelters the highest concentration of large game animals in Africa, including the majestic Big Five and a diverse array of predators. It is a truly exceptional place, rightfully recognized on the UNESCO World Heritage List. As you descend into the crater, you’ll find yourself in a vast expanse teeming with wildlife. The steep crater walls ascend from 400 to 610 meters above the crater floor, covering a base area of 264 square kilometers (with a diameter of 19 kilometers). In the afternoon, your journey will continue towards Arusha, where you’ll enjoy an overnight stay and prepare for the adventures that await you on the following day.

Maasai boma visit: Pay a visit to one of the famous Maasai bomas, where you’ll have the opportunity to witness (and participate in) traditional Maasai dance, tour an authentic Maasai village, and even do a little souvenir shopping at the local market.
Both of the above activities attract an additional cost. Speak with your safari expert about adding them to your itinerary.

Day 03:Materuni Waterfalls, Coffee Tour to Zanzibar

Cradled within the verdant slopes of Mt Kilimanjaro, this enchanting waterfall presents a serene refuge from bustling urban life and a respite from the sweltering heat. Clothing

Your clothing should be lightweight, breathable, hand-washable, and quick-drying, preferably moisture-wicking and non-cotton. Layers work best! You will want active wear for daily activities and casual dressy clothes for evening.
