Life on Safari
Your safari adventure begins with an 8:30 AM pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. After meeting your professional safari guide, depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive.
Known as the “Land of Giants,” Tarangire National Park is Tanzania’s third-largest national park and is famous for its iconic baobab trees and impressive elephant herds. The life-giving Tarangire River attracts an abundance of wildlife throughout the year, especially during the dry season.
During your game drive, keep an eye out for elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, elands, oryx, lesser kudus, and many other fascinating animals and bird species. Enjoy your picnic lunch at one of the park’s scenic picnic sites before continuing your afternoon wildlife adventure.
In the late afternoon, drive to your lodge, where a delicious dinner and a relaxing overnight stay await.

Today you will do a balloon ride early in the morning, offering breathtaking aerial views of the endless plains as the sun rises.
After breakfast, continue your morning game drive through less-visited areas of the Serengeti, where you have an excellent opportunity to witness predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs while they are still active. These quieter regions also provide exceptional wildlife viewing away from the busier safari routes.
After lunch, begin your scenic drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying an en-route game drive as you search for more wildlife before continuing to Karatu.
Arrive at your lodge in the evening for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, drive to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most extraordinary wildlife destinations.
Descend over 600 meters to the crater floor for a memorable game drive. Thanks to its permanent water supply and fertile grazing grounds, the crater supports one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. During your safari, you may encounter elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, warthogs, hippos, lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and, with a bit of luck, the endangered black rhino.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at the famous Ngoitokitok picnic site near the hippo pool, where you can stretch your legs and take in the beautiful surroundings before continuing your game drive.
In the afternoon, ascend the crater and begin your return journey to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your preferred location between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzania safari.
