You will arrive at Kogatende Airstrip in Northern Serengeti from Zanzibar, At hand to receive you will be our safari guide who will have a picnic lunch and be ready for the safari. You will experience the awe-inspiring migration crossing in Northern Serengeti. You will fly in and out of Zanzibar, avoiding long and bumpy rides and staying in semi-luxury migrational lodges. You will witness nature’s grandest spectacle as millions of wildebeest brave the Mara River in search of greener pastures.
Life on Safari
Your safari adventure begins with an early transfer from your hotel in Zanzibar to the airport for a scenic flight to Northern Serengeti.
Upon arrival at Kogatende Airstrip around mid-morning, you will meet your private safari guide and immediately begin your first game drive toward the Mara River. This area is world-famous for the Great Migration river crossings, where wildebeests and zebras brave crocodile-infested waters while predators wait nearby.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your afternoon exploration. Later, transfer to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Start your day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, offering excellent chances to spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and possibly migration herds depending on the season.
After lunch, begin your journey toward Karatu with a scenic drive out of the Serengeti and through the Ngorongoro Highlands.

After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations.
The crater is home to the Big Five, including the rare black rhino, as well as large populations of lions, hyenas, elephants, zebras, wildebeests, and hippos. The lush crater floor creates one of the highest wildlife densities in Africa, making sightings highly rewarding.
Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before ascending the crater and transferring to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar.
